Scenario: New Orleans during Katrina
If justice had occurred during the New Orleans flood, a lot of New
Orleans police officers would be dead today. I'm sure most of you
have heard of the "disarm everyone!" attitude of the jackboots
during that disaster, but here's a nice short video about it:

Do you REALLY think any of those cops even THOUGHT they were
"protecting and serving"? Like good little Nazis, they were
following 'orders', and forcibly disarming innocent people when those people MOST needed the ability to defend themselves. In that case, however, they didn't really bother with any sort of moral or legal excuse. It was an "emergency," so they just went into martial law mode: they have the right to do it because they CAN.
I have to wonder how many folks chased away or even shot at the
victim disarmament brigade. None? Hundreds? I'm not sure we'd ever hear about it, since the fascists don't want people knowing about it, and anyone who did it probably don't want to draw attention to themselves.
